The customer in this photo is an absolute gem of a woman! 93, vibrant and absolutely insisted I take home some food! She was absolutely thrilled to be asked for a photo but I was more so that she said yes!
This is a perfect example of why I love what I do - meeting people from all walks of life and every demographic. It's more than a business for me, it's an opportunity to do what I love - meet people!
Taking the time to go beyond just the service is instilled in all of my team members and it's one of the many things that sets us apart. Of course, we don't make it weird lol...but social cues are not disregarded.
From taking a moment to chat with an elderly woman, to hugging a distraught customer dealing with an estate, to giving a fist bump to a little one... that's the real payment. If only the utility companies would accept that for payment I'd be alright :)
